Can you really earn money by completing surveys online?
The answer is yes and no. I will get to the “no” shortly.
There are plenty of legit survey sites that pay money for surveys and I see lots of blogs promoting survey sites with the promise of making lots of money. So yes you definitely can make money by completing surveys online.
BUT…….
This is why I say no, the time it takes to complete the survey versus the reward is disproportionate. You send 20-25 mins completing a survey for a couple of dollars. Scale that up to an hourly rate and you are working for $5-6/hour. Which in my book is not a good return on your time.
I have and occasionally still do surveys, but certainly they are not a focus. When I am waiting around or have a spare 10-15 minutes then I do a survey and grab a couple of dollars. Most sites have a minimum cash-out level that you can redeem your points against. I have had a few $20 gift vouchers for the grocery store or an itunes voucher.
It costs nothing but your time. They are OK for a time filler and use the dead time to grab a couple of bucks. More profitable than scrolling through Facebook.
Here are some of the survey sites that I have found to legit and payout on time.

Swagbucks

Swagbucks has been around for ages and offers a number of ways to earn Swagbucks (SB), which can then be redeemed for gift vouchers or PayPal.
I am based in Australia and the lowest cash out is 500SB for a $5 Amazon gift voucher or $5 PayPal cash.
Being able to get it as PayPal money is a good bonus as I can use it for anything.
Swagbucks is live in most countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia. Available in some countries in Africa.
How to earn on Swagbucks
They offer the normal surveys where you can earn SB for answering questions. Or in the discover section, there are offers you can sign up for and earn SB in the process. At the time writing you could earn 1000SB for signing up to disney+.
You can also earn Swagbucks by shopping at some popular online stores such as Ebay, Aliexpress, ASOS and many more. For example on Ebay you get 1SB for dollar spent on Ebay.
For those of you that like games, you can earn SB by installing mobile games and completing certain tasks.
You can get SB’s by watching videos on the site.
Overall there is plenty of things to keep you amused on Swagbucks and even an app for iOS and Android.
If you sign via this link you get 300 bonus Swagbucks after you have earned 300SB in 30 days and we also get some SB’s, so it is a win win for all of us.
